A bit about Rob Scheer and Comfort Cases: Over 700 children enter the foster care system each day, and most are given a trash bag to carry their belongings. Rob entered his first foster home at the age of 12 and at 18, when he aged out of the system, he became homeless. He once again packed up his belongings in a trash bag. Years later, he became a foster parent, and founded Comfort Cases. A Comfort Case includes a new pair of pajamas, a sweet stuffed animal, and personal care items.
